Calgary's first net-zero energy home built by Avalon Master Builder on the SAIT campus at the corner of 14 street and 16 avenue NW. The home is designed to be split into 4 pieces to be moved to its permanent home in SouthEast Calgary. This presented a particular design challenge as the wiring of the modules had to be done in such a way that the wiring for the solar array could be easily disconnected and reconnected during the move.
