At SkyFire we love having dogs in the office. Did you know that studies show that people who interact with a pet while working have lower stress levels throughout the day? This, in turn, has been shown to lead to much greater productivity and job satisfaction. Bonus! This month we are featuring Tali who is the gentle giant of Tyler Chase, electrical apprentice, and solar installer at our Calgary office.
Since Tyler works out in the field we find that Tali does not come to work often enough! Whenever we have an event that dogs can attend or when Tyler is working in the warehouse for the day Tali will be certain to attend. Her gentle and sweet nature is so endearing.
Tali came to Tyler from the SPCA in his hometown of Hay River N.T. Luckily they moved to Calgary because this girl could easily be mistaken for a bear (hence the nickname, Big Girl). A bear that is too friendly if that is a thing. This girl loves to make new friends and find herself some treats.
Recently she was let outside for a bathroom break and some fresh air. Tyler came back outside to let her in and couldn’t find her. He kept looking around knowing she wouldn’t be far, then heard her bark from the direction of the neighbors. She had walked in their front door and invited herself into their living room. Again, Tali likes to make friends and find herself some treats!
