Ontario Feed-in-Tariff Overview
As an Ontarian, there’s never been a better time to go solar. Ontario’s feed-in-tariff (FIT) program has created an extraordinary opportunity. When you put a solar system on your roof, you can now sell all the electricity you generate back to your utility for up to 80.2 ¢/kWh. You continue to buy electricity back from the utility at your normal rate (5 to 10 ¢/kWh). This can represent up to a 13% return on investment locked in with a 20 year contract.
