Wind Systems

Wind systems can be a viable and attractive way to create your own electricity and work well in parts of Canada. Generally speaking, a wind turbine needs to be 30 feet above anything within 500 ft to take advantage of the smoothest (laminar) wind. As with solar, these systems can be tied to the grid or incorporated into a system with batteries.
